Food was pretty terrible, most of it was cold, running all over the plate, soggy.
My wife and I have always loved the Cracker Barrel restaurants and this one is no exception. We're leaving right now to go there for breakfast. We are on a budget in so it is nice to be able to walk in and if we want we can order two bowls of oatmeal and somehow we will never walk out hungry.
Props to the manager, host and cashiers as they were all very friendly and attentive.
The service was great. I ordered a BLT that came with very little bacon. Two pieces of bread a large piece of lettuce a nice tomato but hardly any bacon. What bacon I had was crumbly and I couldn't tell you if I had one strep or two strips of bacon. Very disappointed in the fact that no one look at the sandwich before I left the kitchen. I may or may not come back to your restaurant again. I hope someone looks at the kitchen on sandwiches that go out. Thank you for letting me acknowledge my experience at your restaurant. Service was some of the worst I've had, and this is coming from a sympathetic ex-server or several years. Our server had a bad attitude, didn't smile once, hardly said anything as she delivered out drinks and food, and never checked in.
The service is always helpful and gracious and smiling and we enjoy browsing the store also. I will say that we seldom go except for weekday breakfast. When there is a large crowd I imagine the wait time could be longer. I went to a Cracker Barrel with my sister on a Saturday morning and the wait time was significant for a table.
But overall pretty dissapointed.
After reading the reviews on this place, I'm surprised to say that our experience was very poor. Our wait time was only a few minutes, not too bad for how busy it was.
They were really busy on a Sunday but I felt they moved quick to get us seated and then to bring food out. The prices are relatively cheap for a lot of food. The bacon sausage and ham were all disgusting but the pancakes were good
We have our family Christmas brunch there every year around this time. I love the atmosphere of the holidays. We not only eat, but shop as well. We love the store. The food and servers are excellent. The food is always very good and the servers are very friendly.
